Outreach

KIDS seeks to bring the wonder of STEM out into the community.  Here are examples of what we've done:
  • Maryland STEM Festival key presenter with hands-on science at the Accokeek Library
  • STEMtastic presentation at the Accokeek Library
  • Submarine display at the Waldorf West Library
  • SeaPerch Competition host at the Moyaone Pool, included hands-on science stations
  • Submarine presentation to various community organizations
  • College of Southern Maryland entrepreneurship class partner
  • Indian Head STEAM Festival participant, planned for February 2020
